For more than 20 decades, the number of foreign born individuals immigrating to Lake County both from the City of Chicago and directly from other countries has increased significantly and as such has undoubtedly changed the fabric of our local communities and economy. Conversations about the impact and future of immigration policy are more common than ever, but sometimes it's hard to cut through the noise.
